In defense of The Green Ray
I hope I'm not alone, but I found this review of The Green Ray very complaisant. The writer being obviously wrapped up in its superior attitude, stuck with his production value criterion, and unable to offer any insight on the film itself. Not even a word on the ending which brings sense to the whole experience. For me the ending rewards all the frustrations you can endure during the film.
As the french say: "La beauté, ça se mérite."
