Although I’ve recently announced on the show that the production of Confession would be going ahead this month we’ve unfortunately had a temporary set back. Although most of the characters have been cast (and you can see the actors profiles on the news feed) we’re still missing a performer for the role of Phil (the male lead), after auditioning many many different actors for the part we’ve seen some very strong performers but none who were quite right for the part (it’s beginning to feel like the search for Scarlet O’Hara!) As the search continues we’ve begun encroaching on our initial shoot dates which obviously means the shoot has had to be put back. This is of course disappointing as I was eagerly awaiting starting the shoot but in our refusal to compromise the film will doubtlessly be better in the long run. Confession is essentially a character and performance driven film meaning that the casting is of paramount importance.
