Well it has been a long time coming; “Confession” the film funded by Left Field Cinema listeners is finally complete! Now we begin the process of submitting the finished product to film festivals and sales agents in order to secure distribution. I am tremendously pleased with the film, it is the culmination of two years hard work and it’s been more than worth it.

In January 2009 I decided to make a new feature film. After a years worth of pre-production, a long story development period and an exhausting casting process we finally arrived at production which came and went in the blink of an eye over the month of November. It’s been an extraordinary life experience and one that I will cherish forever.

Iain has recently returned to the North of England after spending 3 years working in New York and training at the prestigious method acting school, The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. While in New York Iain's theatre credits include Off-Broadway products of; Marat/ Sade, Equus and Courtship. Short films include leed roles in: Aberration, Hotel Motel Holiday Inn, The Kiss and Rarely Found in Pairs.

After graduating from Bretton Hall in 2003, Sharon successfully pursued a career in teaching Dance and Drama. Sharon has recently performed in various Dance productions at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Riley Theatre, as well as the Laurence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield. Sharon is thoroughly looking forward to working with the cast and creative team of ‘Confession’!

Verity May Henry (in the role of Tracy)

Verity trained at Manchester School of Theatre and has subsequently worked in theatre and television. She has recently appeared on Touch of Frost and Heartbeat and is part of a current commercial campaign. She is also very passionate about comedy and has done a number of sketch shows on stage and comedy plays; during which she has worked with some brilliant writers and actors.

Rachael Henley (in the role of Linda)

Rachael, originally from Ilkley (W. Yorks), has just graduated from the BA Acting (Stage and Screen) course at Central School of Speech and Drama. Roles whilst training include “Edgar” in “King Lear”, “Carol” in “Oleanna”, “Electra” in “The Oresteia”, “Linda” in “Burn” and “Juliet” in “Romeo and Juliet”.

Paddy Jay Forde (in the role of Owen)

A very versatile actor, Paddy has been acting since the age of ten and gained a lot of most of his training with the National Youth Theatre, who were responsible for helping train the likes of Daniel Craig, Helen Mirren, David Walliams and Ben Kingsley.

He has been in numerous short films which have been shown around the world the latest being Mike Dawson's "Hour after Hour".

Juliet Budd (in the role of Denise)

Juliet Budd trained at the Royal Academy of Music and Bretton Hall. She began her career in musical theatre, appearing in summer seasons and pantomimes, most notably as Dick Whittington and Dandini in Cinderella. She sang regularly in concerts around the country, but eventually settled in the North. Alongside her theatre experience she was regularly appearing in television shows such as Coronation Street and Emmerdale among others.

Will Tristram (in the role of Scott)

Will Tristram trained at Bretton Hall and is a versatile performer. Stage and screen, stage combat and voice over work are just some of the ways in which Will carves his odd existence. A fan of the improvisational, Will insists this is not pure laziness but a love for the ‘unknown’ of performance and the challenge that comes with improvisation. A lover of simply value pasta and economy cheeses, Will always knew it was the actors life for him.

Nancy Clarkson (in the role of Karen)

Nancy is from a small mill town in lancashire, she lived a normal happy life growing up as the middle child of three. Nancy worked hard and wandered down the path of university and further education which steered her towards getting a sturdy job with potential of good earning opportunities. she was awarded a BA(Hon) in Event management from Leeds Metropolitan and pursued a career in the most creative part of the events field she could find.

Dave Strange (in the role of Glen)

Confession will be Dave’s on-screen debut for a fiction feature film, he has a commanding screen presence and is a natural performer. A native of Derby for all of his adult life, Dave works primarily in construction during the day but by night is a rapper and musician (part of the Derby based rap group Sound Junkee). Bringing heavy, grimey and funky beats and sharp heavy rhymes to the UK hip-hop scene. We also produce drum and bass/dubstep material in his spare time.

Lindsay Griffen-Scott (in the role of Crystal)

After studying Performing Arts at both School and College, Lindsay went on to become an Entertainer on the Island of Majorca. Her role as an Entertainer involved Singing, Dancing, Presenting and Acting! Living in Majorca for 6 years she decided to move back to Leeds and concentrate on a career in Acting and Presenting. She attends Workshops and classes to improve her skills, has been involved in Short Films both supporting and lead roles and is also an Online Presenter.

Steve Dolton (in the role of Chris)

Steve Dolton was an actor/director with Compact Theatre Co Ltd, a national and international touring company, from 1989 until 2008. The company moved successfully from touring small scale arts venues into main houses during that time, averaging 80 performances a year. Steve has a wide experience directing and acting in drama, comedy, musical comedy and physical theatre. As a former teacher of drama he is also a skilled workshop leader.
